Retired US Army found dead in Cebu

A retired US Army, who has been coming in to Cebu for the past years, was found dead inside his hotel room located along Fuente Osmeña, this city, early today.  

Homicide Investigators, however, initially ruled out foul play in the death of 90-year-old Franklin Blair, who was found already in a state of rigor mortis inside room 516 of the Elegant Circle Inn.

Investigators found no injuries on the body of Blair nor signs of struggles inside the old man’s room but PO3 Victor Roel Ayuman said they will explore all possibilities to ensure that indeed the death of Blair was of natural cause.

Hotel staff said Blair, who was a regular guest, failed to answer the morning call of the housekeeper, prompting personnel to forcibly open his room. Inside, hotel staff saw the Blair, lifeless on his bed. #
